OpsInfo - Upgrade Project
For the initial scope of this project the preparatory stages (SG1&2&3) will be conducted
in 2010 in order to prepare the infrastructural changes(DCS) and design of the vendor lead
database conversion.
The Project requires an upgrade to the database, GUI and web interface of the Opsinfo
application. Past customizations developed by the vendor but specific for Shell are
preventing the current implementation gaining Architectural Approval. With version 8.2 the
vendor is providing \"off the shelf\" replacement functionality that requires migration from
an Oracle to SQL database. This version will also provide improvements in the input
mechanism through WDI and GUI features using Flexforms.
Current servers should be replaced.

Project Complexity:
Due to the combination of : 1. an application upgrade, 2. required global business as well
as IT change mgt., 3. the move to DCS and 4. the database conversion by the vendor, the
risks of having potentially conflicting goals, timelines and dependencies need to be
carefully managed.

Must haveL
*Shell Project management (PDF) experience (Please provide Shell references if not longer
ago than 4 years).
*PM certification (indicate which);
*Experience with applications upgrades, Microsoft Flexforms, Sharepoint, conversion from
Oracle to SQLserver;

Nice to have:
*Application is HSSE- specifically Environment related;
*Experience in dealing with Applications and well as Infrastructure vendors and business
stakeholders.
